OK, I know that I have a long way to go before I reach my $5,000-a-month goal and my $8,500-a-month goal but I am pretty pumped right now. After a year of dibbling and dabbling in internet marketing, I finally cracked the $1,000-a-month barrier for internet marketing alone.

Now mind you, this is not income from my freelance writing efforts. Instead, this is passive income from my IM efforts. I am so excited and proud of myself.

Now, all I have to do is “lather, rinse, and repeat” and then I’ll be well on my way to meeting my financial goals and securing financial freedom for me and my family.

One thing that I can say while looking back on this past year is that although it was hard, I never ever gave up. It wasn’t always easy to stick to it, but I did it.

I had some successes and some failures but I kept chugging along and working toward my goal. I was committed and knew that if others could succeed with internet marketing then by golly I could, too.

In my humble opinion, if you have a strong desire to succeed online, you can do it, too. You just have to be committed and willing to put forth the necessary effort. You have to be persistent and ready to learn and apply the methods you learn.

1. Here are some additional things that I learned this year, too.Focus on ONE thing at a time and finish what you start. A half-finished product is good to no one at all!
2. Do more of what works and less of what doesn’t work.
3. Don’t go after “potentials” that are outside your areas of strength or interest.
4. Stop wasting your time and other people’s time going after things that you won’t have a long-term interest in doing.
5. Consider your time constraints and don’t take on more than you can handle.
6. An organized “busy” is better than a chaotic “busy.”
7. Success is not defined by how “busy” I can be. Also, busy isn’t necessarily productive – know the difference and get it done!
8. Establish realistic goals and learn to say “no.”
9. Don’t be drive by greed. Instead, give and you will receive a hundredfold.
10. Make life balance a value – relax and enjoy your life!

That’s it. Now go out there and get ’er done. Make your dreams come true, too!
