Ever since I got back into Internet Marketing full time, I’ve been wondering how to create multiple streams of writer income. To me, this is not only important because you are able to diversify your earnings but you are also able to have a sense of security in case one method of income dries up. And, as writers we know that this does indeed happen. So, I’ve been looking into ways to diversify earnings and here is a list I thought you may want to check out.

Bukisa – This is a brand new revenue sharing site that pays residual income based on page views. You can submit text, photos, and even videos. In addition, to this, you are also paid referrals for any writers who sign up for your network.

My take on Bukisa – if you’re really good about generating traffic to your articles then this is definitely one that should be looked into. Right now, the Bukisa index is $3.92 (you make a whopping $3.92 for every 1000 unique visits ). This may not sound like a whole lot but it can add up, especially since this is passive income. It is important to note that Bukisa reserves the right to change the Bukisa index as they deem necessary. In fact, when they first started accepting submissions, the index was $4.20.

My special offer – If you sign up for Bukisa under my link and submits 10 articles within 1 month of signing up, you will receive 30 days of FREE email consulting with me. During this timeframe, I will share my knowledge with you. I can review sales pages, help you brainstorm, whatever. In essence, I will be your personal coach for a set period of time to help you succeed.  To take advantage, click here to sign up and then email me at kristi@internetmarketingwriter.com. I will then provide you with a special email address that you can use to post questions. Today blog – This is another opportunity that I found. With this one, you are paid $2.00 for every 1000 impressions and $1.00 per daily 100 word post for your blog.

My take on having a Today Blog . This is a great opportunity for those who want to make guaranteed income and aregood at generating traffic. Think of this, you get about $28-$31 bucks per month guaranteed for writing 2800-3100 words and if you’re good at driving traffic, your income will grow. According to today.com, their top blogger made $700.00 last month from pay-per-post and impressions.

My special offer – if you sign up for a Today blog using this link and post 10 entries within 1 month of signing up, you too will receive 10 days of FREE email consulting with me. During this timeframe, I will share my knowledge with you. To take advantage, click here to sign up and then email me at kristi@internemarketingwriter.com. I will then provide you with a special email to contact me.

Double SPECIAL offer – If you sign up for Bukisa and Today.com (using my links) and complete 10 articles/blogs on each site within 1 month of signing up, I will double your coaching time and provide you with 5 free IM books to help you profit even more!

Every single day, I visit forums and hear writers complaining that they can’t make enough money to support themselves or their families. They complain that there just aren’t enough opportunities that they can take advantage of. And my response is, “You have none to blame but yourself and until you change your viewpoint, you’ll be stuck where you are.”

That’s right – their negative viewpoint is blocking their opportunities. By only concentrating on negativity, they can’t see the big picture. Let me put it to you this way – if you have good writing and marketing skill and are dedicated and willing to work hard, you can make money as an Internet Marketing writer. Now, you won’t get rich overnight but if you consistently work hard and diversify your opportunities, you will achieve your financial goals. The problem is that most people don’t have the dedication to stick it out and work this proven plan. And, yes, I know because I was one of them.

Although I was previously making over $1,000 a month with internet marketing, I wasn’t reaching my goals fast enough so I jumped ship. I said, “The heck with internet marketing and went ahead and took a short time ghostwriting gig that paid well.”

Luckily for me, it didn’t work out and I’m back now even more motivated than before. That said, I think I learned what went wrong last time:

  • I had doubts. I truly doubted that I could do it. I even questioned if other people were really doing it. In my mind, I kept struggling with visions of failure and success and failure kept winning out. This time, my vision of success will win.
  • I wasn’t focused. I kept going from this best thing to another. I never gave any one thing a chance to work. Instead I kept vacillating between too many projects. This time, I will focus on one thing at a time.
  • I wanted instant results and didn’t give myself a chance to succeed. Building an internet marketing business takes time to grow. You likely won’t hit your financial goals the very first day and that’s OK. In fact, most experienced marketers say that it took them 1-3 years to really get things going. I gave it a good 9 months and I then jumped ship. This time, I’m in it to win baby. I am determined to make this work out.
  • I also didn’t put enough intensity into working my plan. Yes I was hyped up but I lost steam. If you really want to see the results of IM, you have to work your buns off. No get rich quick nonsense. Slow and steady wins the race. In fact, I recently learned that one of my favorite IMers, Steven Wagenheim, works nearly 10 hours a day to make over $368 bucks a day. Yes, he is making over $11,000 a month but he works hard to make that much. Now, I won’t be able to put in that much time due to my young family’s needs but I can work smarter and harder with the time that I have and I can meet my goals of $6000+ in 2009 or $165 a day.

Well, that’s it for now. Gotta get back to work!

Hey guys,

Kristi here. If you’ve been following my blog since I started writing it then you know that I loved writing personalized posts. I love sharing my persnal experiences with you, keeping you up to date about my IM efforts. However, there was a few months, where I stopped doing this. Yes,I posted but I didn’t tell you what I was doing.

Was it because I was mysterious? Was it because I didn’t care anymore?

Well, I have to be completely and totally honest with you – I let this blog fall by the wayside because I got lazy, lost  interest in my dream of becoming a successful IMer and helping others. I got tired of working so hard and NOT seeing the fruits of my labor. I also got tired of feeling like NO ONE cared whether I wrote or not.

In fact, I got so tired of IM and frustrated that I wasn’t helping anyone anyway that I let this blog go. In essence, I fell off the IM bandwagon.

It also didn’t help that I  came across a 4 month writing gig that monopolized all my time and was fun. Yes, for those 4 months that you didn’t hear from me, I was actually pretty content.

I didn’t have to worry about scouring for projects, worrying about IM or anything else. I just wrote articles and got paid for them. It was a nice and content feeling but I didn’t really feel driven. I did the work, got paid and had a bit of fun but I still felt something was missing. (My dreams)

Anyway, I kept at it for 4 months.

During this time, I still received residual income from my IM efforts (affiliate products and niche blogs). Although I didn’t work on IM during this time, I still received the benefits of my hard IM work from before. It was a nice feeling and a reminder that IM works.

Well, in November, the company that monopolized all my time for 4 months, shut down. They told me and all the other content producers to take a hike because the site just wasn’t making it and that was that. Easy come – easy go.

I could have been bitter but actually I was a bit excited. Taking that time away from IM, helped refresh my enthusiasm and made me see that I can’t let IM go. I have to keep working at this NO MATTER what. I have to make this  IM stuff work out and I have to do it now.

I have 2 years to reach my goal of $100,000 a year + IM writer and I will do it.

I will accomplish my goals and I will stay focused and I will not let quick cash deter me.

Won’t you  join me in my quest again for financial freedom? I sure hope you will.

Kristi
