It merely needs to give you direction. I guess I have probably oversimplified that a little but even the most basic plan will stave off the possibility of losing focus on your goals. As they say "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail". My own business plan was created so long ago and has been read through so many times that I am not even sure I could put my hands on the hard copy now, it is simply committed to memory through constantly using it for inspiration. So, in short, I commend you for this post and support your push to have all internet marketers devise, and stick to, a basic plan of action. There are 2 words in that last sentence that are critical for any business, especially internet marketing. Those 2 words are "plan" and "action". Without either of them you are doomed.
