Here’s the thing. Even with these residual income sites, you absolutely have no control over whether or not someone is going to plagiarize your material and then claim it as their own. In fact, certain sites even have plagiarism software in place that ‘cleverly detects” plagiarism that is on the ‘net and then removes your article and you then have to prove that you actually wrote it.

This is quite frustrating for writers and basically forcing us to “prove our innocence” when we’ve done nothing wrong.    I know of at least one case where the entire library of a revenue sharing site was copied and many writers had to prove their innocence. Eventually the site was taken down but this just proves how easy it is for writers to get their work stolen and punished for something that was absolutely beyond their control.

This is why I strongly suggest all of you to do the following:

  • Back up any articles that you write so that you maintain copies of them. You never know when your work will get flagged.

  • Use multiple streams of income. Don’t rely on one revenue sharing site for all your income. Instead use various types of revenue sharing sites so that you can diversify your income.

  • Understand that this stuff happens but be ready to fight back. You shouldn’t be forced to rewrite an article when you’ve done nothing wrong. Just be ready to prove that you wrote it when questioned.

  • Be cooperative and patient. You are not being taken advantage of directly. Although it feels like you’re being picked on, you’re not. We’re all in the same boat here.  Just cooperate with the appropriate person, state your best and trust that everything will work out in the end.

Consistency is the key!

Consistency is the key to success and you must never, ever, ever give up your goals.

I, for one, have been tempted to give up lots of times. In fact, I even gave up for a few months in order to make some active income. Although the active income was very nice (while it lasted), once it was gone, it was gone. I put in so much time and energy into building someone else’s library of articles and they’ll receive the benefits of those articles for years to come and I, have been paid, spent the money and that is that.

So, my plan is to keep working consistently to meet my writing goals – no matter what! I am just going to keep churning out high quality content and effectively marketing it to make sure that I get it out there. Because the more content I have out there, the more potential income that I can make.

In fact, you can consider me the mean IM writing machine. This is because I believe that slow and steady wins the race. It is easy to get fired up and then let that motivation and energy dwindle when you don’t see immediate results. I know because this happened to me. However, I truly believe that if I just keep chugging along, doing my best and writing about topics I love, the money will come to me eventually. On the same token, if I give up, I will never accomplish my goals.

As I previously stated,  my goal  is to make at least $179 a day. I am confident that I can accomplish this goal if I use both active and passive income. You see, active income is income you make right now. It includes ghostwriting for clients, etc. It is income that is like a job. If you stop working or don’t do the work, your income will cease as well. In most instances, once you complete the task and get paid for your efforts, your income ceases at that point. On the other hand, passive income continues to pay you, long after you stop working. For instance, writing for sites like Bukisa and Xomba are passive income. You complete the work today and get paid tomorrow.

So, the question is, which one should you use? In my case, I will use active and passive writing streams to meet my $166 a day writing goals. My plan is to spend 50% of my time on Active incomeand 50% of my time on residual or passive income.

By dividing it up half and half, I will have income now and later. In addition, I will be building a business and not just working a job and to me, this just makes good financial and common sense.

So, what do you plan on pursuing? Active writing income, passive writing income or both?

Ever since I got back into Internet Marketing full time, I’ve been wondering how to create multiple streams of writer income. To me, this is not only important because you are able to diversify your earnings but you are also able to have a sense of security in case one method of income dries up. And, as writers we know that this does indeed happen. So, I’ve been looking into ways to diversify earnings and here is a list I thought you may want to check out.

Bukisa – This is a brand new revenue sharing site that pays residual income based on page views. You can submit text, photos, and even videos. In addition, to this, you are also paid referrals for any writers who sign up for your network.

My take on Bukisa – if you’re really good about generating traffic to your articles then this is definitely one that should be looked into. Right now, the Bukisa index is $3.92 (you make a whopping $3.92 for every 1000 unique visits ). This may not sound like a whole lot but it can add up, especially since this is passive income. It is important to note that Bukisa reserves the right to change the Bukisa index as they deem necessary. In fact, when they first started accepting submissions, the index was $4.20.

My special offer – If you sign up for Bukisa under my link and submits 10 articles within 1 month of signing up, you will receive 30 days of FREE email consulting with me. During this timeframe, I will share my knowledge with you. I can review sales pages, help you brainstorm, whatever. In essence, I will be your personal coach for a set period of time to help you succeed.  To take advantage, click here to sign up and then email me at kristi@internetmarketingwriter.com. I will then provide you with a special email address that you can use to post questions. Today blog – This is another opportunity that I found. With this one, you are paid $2.00 for every 1000 impressions and $1.00 per daily 100 word post for your blog.

My take on having a Today Blog . This is a great opportunity for those who want to make guaranteed income and aregood at generating traffic. Think of this, you get about $28-$31 bucks per month guaranteed for writing 2800-3100 words and if you’re good at driving traffic, your income will grow. According to today.com, their top blogger made $700.00 last month from pay-per-post and impressions.

My special offer – if you sign up for a Today blog using this link and post 10 entries within 1 month of signing up, you too will receive 10 days of FREE email consulting with me. During this timeframe, I will share my knowledge with you. To take advantage, click here to sign up and then email me at kristi@internemarketingwriter.com. I will then provide you with a special email to contact me.

Double SPECIAL offer – If you sign up for Bukisa and Today.com (using my links) and complete 10 articles/blogs on each site within 1 month of signing up, I will double your coaching time and provide you with 5 free IM books to help you profit even more!

It can be really difficult when your family members or friends don’t support your Internet marketing efforts. In fact, it can make you feel very alone and frustrated. This can even cause you to start doubting yourself. So, what should you do when no one supports your IM efforts?

Well, here’s a few tips that have helped me:

1. Support yourself. Always believe in yourself and know that you can make your financial dreams a reality with your IM efforts. You don’t need anyone else to validate you. Although it is nice to have support, you don’t HAVE to have the support of your friends and family members to be successful. You simply have to have the desire, work hard and apply your knowledge. If you do this, you can succeed.

2. Realize that its OK if family and friends don’t offer support. Not everyone is going to support your IM efforts and that is fine. Some people only view the 9 to 5 or working for someone else methodology of earning a living. They just don’t get the bigger picture of IM and may even think that you are wasting your time online. Therefore, it isn’t your job to persuade them and don’t let their negativity affect you one bit. Just keep learning and growing.

3. Stop confiding in nonbelievers. If your friends and family members don’t support your efforts then stop talking about IM altogether. Stop sharing your joys if they’re going to poke fun at you. For instance, when I made my first .16 online with my niche sites, I was so excited and I told everyone. They all laughed at me so I stopped talking about it. Now I make $1000 a month from those same sites and I only divulge my secrets if asked.

4. Surround yourself with supportive people. If you need support, you can find it online. Join a supportive membership site like Internet Marketing Writers or visit a great forum like the Warrior Forum so that you can find the support you need. At these places, you’ll discover support from like minded individuals that are also making their IM dreams a reality.

5. Read motivational stories. Always read motivational stories from other IMers that have been through what you’re going through. You’ll likely find that they weren’t supported by their friends or family members either but they didn’t let it stop them. They believed in themselves and made their dreams a reality.

In conclusion, don’t worry about non supportive people that don’t believe in your efforts. Although you may care about or even love them, you can’t let them crush your dreams. Instead, find support elsewhere and put your energy into growing your business and becoming successful.
