You may be wondering where I’ve been lately – well, I’ve been diversifying my income streams and doing my best to focus my energies on one thing at a time. Every week, I have decided to focus on one idea and to stop trying to put all my energies into 5 different things at a time. I even completed a mini business plan this week and you know what, my business plan has given me direction and purpose. It keeps me grounded and focused and it is motivating.

Whenever I feel temped to drift away from my business plan, I simply pick it up, read it again and get back grounded. My plan includes my business model (freelancing, PLR creation, affiliate /bum marketing, niche websites, eBook production , and residual income sites. It also includes my long and short term income goals ($52,000 a year for 1^st year and $104,000 for the 2^nd year), and expenses ($500.00 a month). This equates to about 25% freelancing and 75% passive income streams.

My business plan is a 2 page document but is quite powerful indeed. I strongly suggest that ALL of you create a basic business plan right now.

Again, this is another one of the best ways to make money with your own writing. Think about it. If you’re frustrated because you’re making pennies for the articles and writing projects that you really work hard on, so are thousands of other writers. If you know the ways to help them make more money for the work they do, or to write for themselves and earn more money, they will pay you to get those secrets – and they deserve them!

You can do this idea in several different ways. One idea is to create your own site that is attractive, keyword-rich and contains your own autoresponder. Offer a seven-day course to help writers earn more money in a shorter amount of time. Research the best ways to make money through writing and then write up your seven days full of emails with the best information you can find.

The thing with purchasing and flipping the site is that you need to make sure you have the available funds to purchase a fairly cheap but nice site. You will also want to be fairly sure you will make a good profit that will pay for the work you do to the site. If you’re not sure about this, creating your own site may be the way to go.

As you know, content is king and people love ready-to-go businesses. So why not create some websites based on some original keyword-rich article content that you’ve created based on a niche? You can then create a website using Xsite Pro or Front Page (or hire someone else to design the site) and then sell it for profit.

With this method, you can easily earn a quick $500.00 or $1,000 or more. To increase your income even further, you could secure top search engine placements about 50 backlinks and really see your hard work and effort soar.

Men and women who want to make money on the internet would almost always rather purchase a “ready-to-go” business rather than spending the time to create their own content-rich site. In fact, these sites can be really hot sellers, especially if you have a good amount of traffic going to them before you sell them.

All you have to do is purchase a domain and hosting. (Remember the domain name tips and suggestions.) This is a high-end product sale that will keep you going all year. Imagine working for just 15 clients a year. Would that make your life easier? You bet!

With this idea, you’ll need to set up a monthly membership site where people pay you $1,000 a month to write five custom (100 pages total) eBooks for them. For this amount, you promise to deliver well-written, informative, and original content, specifically for that customer. So every month they get five eBooks on any topic of their choice. Five eBooks that are custom-made just for them.

Think about it. At 10 clients a month, that’s over $10,000 every month. Woohooo. In no time, you can make a serious income through this method. So, what do you need to watch out for and who do you target?

Quite simply, you will need to limit how large the eBooks can be – after all, you may be a great writer, but you’re not a magician. So, set a limit such as 20 pages. This way, you know exactly what you have to do with each eBook and no matter what topic it is, you should be able to pull it off.

You’ll also need to determine the average time it takes you to write an eBook. Practice and see how many you can do in a day’s time and consider how many days you want to work or are able to work. Consider whether you can get other writers to help you with your business, but be sure they are quick and very dependable as well as at least semi-talented!

Target internet businessmen and women who know the value of having eBooks to sell, to give away free on their websites, or whatever else they may want to do with them. Remember these things and you could be raking in over $10,000 a month! That is huge money! YES!

This is actually a spin-off of last week’s idea. For this one, you would create articles but deliver them in 12 hours or less. Again, you would deliver it or it would be free. What gives you the upper hand when it comes to doing this? Simple. There are a gazillion different places that are offering articles that are custom written, but these articles might take a couple of days to a few weeks to be returned to the person who ordered them. Then again, that person could order pre-written articles at a very, very cheap price.

There is a down side with both of these options. With the first, people would rather receive the work quickly. Instead, they have to wait. With the second option, the content wouldn’t be fresh. It would be PLR content so other people would have the same content. To make that work, you’ll have to rewrite the content. If you don’t, you could be guilty of duplicate content, which would run the risk of possible penalties from the search engines and this can mean lower traffic, lower sales, and fewer customers.

All this to say, if you offered a custom article writing service where the client or customer was guaranteed to have their article within 12 hours or it was completely free, you have the potential to make a killing. The only catch is that you need to be sure you can write this quickly, or can get helpers who can write this quickly.

Just remember that finding quality help is difficult. You have to really dig to find talented writers that produce quality work quickly. In addition, you will also have to pay your writer well, which will mean less profit for you. However, if your business really takes off and you have a ton of customers or clients, you will most likely have to get someone to help you write them, anyway.

However, if you think you can churn out articles quickly, then go for it. You could really make a lot of money.

With this business idea, you could create a super-fast eBook service where you would charge a super-low price of, like, $150.00 for a 10-page eBook, but promise that you would deliver it within 24 hours or it was free.

You would write an eBook within 24 hours or the client pays nothing. This type of service would work well because people want stuff fast, and they’re willing to pay top dollar to get it. In fact, many businessmen and women would rather purchase something that wasn’t super-high quality (just good enough) if they received it extremely fast than something that was exceedingly high quality that took months to write.

People are more interested in instant gratification than anything else. They want it now and they want it fast. This is just how the Internet works. By giving clients good enough quality work fast, you’ll make great money!

To make this work, however, you must be a fast writer. Obviously these books are not going to win Pulitzer Prizes, but they must be clear, concise, and well written. Heck, you could make a killing with these considering that the internet is chock full of useless content sites that are AUTO generated. With this idea, you’ll rent out your services to eight or so clients a month. They’ll purchase 20 hours a week for your services and you can bill them $700.00 or more for your time, depending on your experience. With this business model, you’ll make about $5,600 or so a month.
