One of my fellow internet marketers, Amy Bass at http://www.mydebtfreegoal.com , just paid off a whopping $70,000 in debt and she did it in 21 months.
This is really incredible to me. I am so proud of her and extremely motivated that a young mother of 4 could accomplish so much in such a short period of time. How did she do it? She did it by working her fanny off and truly believing that she could accomplish her goals.
Amy put forth the time and the effort and she didn’t listen to naysayers. In fact, when other people told her to stop working so hard and “go out and get a real job” she held steadfast and didn’t give up her internet marketing dreams. Instead, she kept right on believing in herself and working her plan that consisted of get paid to sites, niche websites, membership sites, etc.
Amy worked day in and day out (12-18 hours a day) and made her dreams a reality. I am so proud of Amy and just wanted to give her two thumbs up.
Way to go Amy. You rock girl and I plan on joining you in debt freedom land real soon.

What I’ve noticed about most internet marketers is that they talk about what they’re going to do – they’re going to design this website or that website, they’re going to try out this marketing method or that one. Then, they become immobilized by all that talking and don’t do a darn thing.
Well, I’m here to tell you that if you’re serious about being a successful internet marketer, you have to stop talking and start doing. Instead of spending hours on a forum, reading about the latest and greatest money making IM strategy, you have to get out there and do something.
You have to make a plan, set realistic goals and then implement your plan. In essence, you have to get out of dream mode and into action mode. Here’s the way I see it, we all want to acquire wealth and we want to learn the secrets to internet marketing. News flash – there is no secret.
The successful marketers are the ones that are doing something now. They are not sitting around talking about what they are going to do. So, the next time you’re tempted to purchase the latest technique in Internet marketing or want to peruse a marketing forum for hours and hours, stop and work your plan.
Do something now that is going to make you money now. Take action and watch your income soar.
Enough said.

Consistency is the key to success and you must never, ever, ever give up your goals.
I, for one, have been tempted to give up lots of times. In fact, I even gave up for a few months in order to make some active income. Although the active income was very nice (while it lasted), once it was gone, it was gone. I put in so much time and energy into building someone else’s library of articles and they’ll receive the benefits of those articles for years to come and I, have been paid, spent the money and that is that.
So, my plan is to keep working consistently to meet my writing goals – no matter what! I am just going to keep churning out high quality content and effectively marketing it to make sure that I get it out there. Because the more content I have out there, the more potential income that I can make.
In fact, you can consider me the mean IM writing machine. This is because I believe that slow and steady wins the race. It is easy to get fired up and then let that motivation and energy dwindle when you don’t see immediate results. I know because this happened to me. However, I truly believe that if I just keep chugging along, doing my best and writing about topics I love, the money will come to me eventually. On the same token, if I give up, I will never accomplish my goals.

Hey guys:
I just wanted to take some time to say “Happy New Year’s Eve and Day”.
I truly believe that 2009 is going to be the best year for all of us. We are internet marketing writers and we will succeed at meeting our financial goals and building a strong future.
Not only do we have writing talent but we are smart and realize that we can succeed at internet marketing.
We will do this by using our talents for our own benefit, working smart, staying committed and keeping our eye on success.
In essence, we will meet all of our income goals. I feel it. I can taste it and I can’t wait to get started.
See you next year!

Every single day, I visit forums and hear writers complaining that they can’t make enough money to support themselves or their families. They complain that there just aren’t enough opportunities that they can take advantage of. And my response is, “You have none to blame but yourself and until you change your viewpoint, you’ll be stuck where you are.”
That’s right – their negative viewpoint is blocking their opportunities. By only concentrating on negativity, they can’t see the big picture. Let me put it to you this way – if you have good writing and marketing skill and are dedicated and willing to work hard, you can make money as an Internet Marketing writer. Now, you won’t get rich overnight but if you consistently work hard and diversify your opportunities, you will achieve your financial goals. The problem is that most people don’t have the dedication to stick it out and work this proven plan. And, yes, I know because I was one of them.
Although I was previously making over $1,000 a month with internet marketing, I wasn’t reaching my goals fast enough so I jumped ship. I said, “The heck with internet marketing and went ahead and took a short time ghostwriting gig that paid well.”
Luckily for me, it didn’t work out and I’m back now even more motivated than before. That said, I think I learned what went wrong last time:
- I had doubts. I truly doubted that I could do it. I even questioned if other people were really doing it. In my mind, I kept struggling with visions of failure and success and failure kept winning out. This time, my vision of success will win.
- I wasn’t focused. I kept going from this best thing to another. I never gave any one thing a chance to work. Instead I kept vacillating between too many projects. This time, I will focus on one thing at a time.
- I wanted instant results and didn’t give myself a chance to succeed. Building an internet marketing business takes time to grow. You likely won’t hit your financial goals the very first day and that’s OK. In fact, most experienced marketers say that it took them 1-3 years to really get things going. I gave it a good 9 months and I then jumped ship. This time, I’m in it to win baby. I am determined to make this work out.
- I also didn’t put enough intensity into working my plan. Yes I was hyped up but I lost steam. If you really want to see the results of IM, you have to work your buns off. No get rich quick nonsense. Slow and steady wins the race. In fact, I recently learned that one of my favorite IMers, Steven Wagenheim, works nearly 10 hours a day to make over $368 bucks a day. Yes, he is making over $11,000 a month but he works hard to make that much. Now, I won’t be able to put in that much time due to my young family’s needs but I can work smarter and harder with the time that I have and I can meet my goals of $6000+ in 2009 or $165 a day.
Well, that’s it for now. Gotta get back to work!
